The witchgrass range from Urban10 includes 8 styles of Artificial Grass. From 7mm thick ‘Standard’ to 38mm thick ‘Savoy’.

Witchgrass Standard Artificial Grass – 7mm thick.

A low cost entry level artificial grass, suitable for displays and very light traffic areas. Easy to install, Witchgrass Standard Artificial Grass provides quick area coverage at a very low price. Suitable for indoors and outdoors usage.

Standard plus is available in 2m & 4m widths. 25m roll and cut lengths also available

Recommended Usage:- Display and very light traffic/footfall  areas

 

Witchgrass Classic Artificial Grass – 20mm thick.

A budget artificial grass but with a great visual appearance. Suitable for areas of light traffic. Easy to install, Witchgrass Classic Artificial Grass provides a great entry level grass. Suitable for indoors and outdoors usage.

Classic is available in 2m & 4m widths. 25m roll and cut lengths also available.

Recommended usage :- Areas with light traffic/footfall.

 

 

Witchgrass Trent Artificial Grass – 25mm thick.

A high quality artificial grass with a fabulous  visual appearance of real lawn. Suitable for landscaping, gardens,

 ARTIFICIAL GRASS INSTALLATION

• Measure your area you want to cover (in metres) making sure you add 10cm of length for trimming. Our artificial grass is supplied in 2 & 4 metre widths and cut to any length requested.

 

• Prepare base as instructed:
• Any existing turf, gravel or soil is to be removed.
• Level out your entire surface making sure it’s all compact until very firm.
• Apply a minimum of 5cm of good quality Hardcore and compact well making sure there are no hollow or loose areas. Add 2.5cm of sharp sand all over making sure your whole surface is firm, level and compact.

 

Important- Poorly drained soil will require a greater depth of hardcore:

 

• Place your artificial grass carefully over the area making sure you have equal overlaps all around for trimming. Smooth out all creases, Wear strong gloves for safety. Trim the grass to size using a Stanley knife; always remember to cut from the underneath of the grass reducing the size until it fits perfectly.

 

Important- Remember to cut gradually as extra can always be taken off but can’t be added back on if too much is taken off! So take your time!

 

• Optional securing the grass is done by applying 50 x 50mm timber pegs into the base at about 2m intervals around edges, then cut pegs over the top of sand and secure grass to pegs with screws.
• You can also use joint & adhesive tape available for widths greater than 4m. Your tape must be applied both side equally at either side off butted seams and covered with adhesive all over, please note adhesive don’t work well below 5˚C.
• When your artificial grass has been fitted brush the pile to correct height with a stiff brush. For sand fitted grass add the correct amount of sand spreading evenly and brush into the pile, this helps it keep weighted down.
• The only maintenance required is brushing to keep your grass tidy and pile upright.
